Faced with a crime that bridges the worlds of neurosurgery, blood sports and animal rights, Hathaway works his first case as DI with the help of his new partner, DS Lizzie Maddox.
This episode aired in the UK in October.
In April a ninth season was commissioned by ITV.

Any word on Season 9 yet ??
Production commenced in May 2015 easygoing777, fans in the UK are sad that DCS Jean Innocent (Rebecca Front) has been replaced by DCS Joseph Moody, played by Steve Toussaint. As usual there will be 6 episodes, 3 two parters.
I guess Seven will take numbers anyway they can get them at the moment. And better to show them now before the schedule get full of football and new US shows.
