Outspoken Townsville grandmother vows to stand at the next election as an independent Senate candidate.

2015-07-07_23052014 Go Back to Where You Came From participant Kim Vuga will run for the Senate at the next federal election.

The outspoken Townsville grandmother, told Fairfax, “Charity begins at home. We need to look after our own backyard.

“We’re putting Australian citizens as second-class citizens in our own country.

“The politicians have made such a bloody mess in parliament at the moment,” she says. “We’ve become the laughing stock of the world.”

Vuga has links with the Reclaim Australia group but insists she will be standing as an independent.

  1. If you’re going to trot out that tired line of “charity starts at home” and variations of, I really hope you’re out helping the homeless, raising money for charities, volunteering and helping elderly neighbours.

    1. Totally agree Nathan. I’ve visited her FB page and she and her supporters have trotted out the ‘look after Australians first’ line over and over again and I don’t see any of them actually helping out at homeless shelters or volunteering for charities etc.

Sadly I think she has a very good chance of being elected. There really are a lot of racist nutjobs out there.

Lets hope the media ignores her and her supporters.
