Break out the flute. Here’s a name I haven’t heard in a while.
Next Sunday Foxtel Arts screens Jethro Tull: Live AVO Session.
This one hour special was filmed in 2008, but is still an Aussie premiere. I guess that’s still a while…
A unique phenomenon in popular music history, Jethro Tull have been and still are one of the most successful live performing acts on the world stage, rivalling Led Zeppelin, Elton John and even the Rolling Stones. After 40 years at the bottom, at the top and various points in between, with now some 30-odd albums to their credit and sales totaling more than 50 million, Jethro Tull are still performing typically more than a hundred concerts each year. In this concert filmed in 2008 see Jethro Tull perform a selection of their best hits, including: Aqualung, Heavy Horses, Locomotive Breath, My Sunday Feeling, Living in the Past, Thick as a Brick and many more.
Saturday February 27 at 8.30pm on Foxtel Arts.
