  1. You can fool all of the people some of the time, but not forever. You show rubbish and eventually the ratings will bite you on the butt. The Habibs will go the way of the atrocious ‘I’m a brain dead Celeb’ and thankfully disappear from our screens before too long.
Thank God for Wanted and Shawn the Sheep.

    • I dont understand the vitriol. If you dont like it, thats great, but there is no need to wish bad fortune on an Australian comedy series – a show employing dozens of people.

Australian TV public are a fickle bunch. We love to hate everything, and then cant articulate why we hate loving other things (like MKR)

      • Hear hear. If you don’t like something, just say so and move on. This national sport of gleefully tearing to shreds anything you don’t personally like, and then wishing failure upon it is so immature and pathetic. I didn’t love it either but good on them for having a crack and doing so well. It’s got to be good for the industry, surely.

    • You must be in demand being able to predict the future. See you back here next Wednesday then. PS what are the winning powerball numbers while your at it?

  2. Nothing can stop MKR, it is a steamroller flattening all before it. Amazed that the Habibs did so well, I thought the promos for it were as naff as hell. However, I’m happy that a local comedy has rated so highly.

  3. Been a long time since I can remember a show following TBBT picking up viewers, let alone nearly half a million of them!
Poor old Ten, for all their cross promotion over summer seem to be making minimal impact now when it counts.
