Sammy J & Randy comedy for NBC streaming

ABC comedy Sammy J and Randy in Ricketts Lane has been sold to NBC’s SVOD comedy channel, Seeso.

Sammy J told News Corp: “It gives me great joy to know some pimply teenager in Utah might be watching our show.”

The comedy by Sticky Pictures, debuted on iview last September, before an ABC screening in October.

There’s no word as yet on a second season for the series.

“That’s a question to be answered by middle aged executives in an office somewhere. We are humble artists who feast off the crumbs of TV when they come our way,” he said.
