Top Gear: trailer

Visually the new-look Top Gear looks glossy, expensive and humourous.

The BBC has released its first trailer for Top Gear -visually it looks quite impressive.

It includes scenes shot in the UK, US, France, Morocco and the UAE, featuring an Aston Martin Vulcan, Ferrari F12 TDF and Ariel Nomad.

It shows Chris Evans feeling a little queasy trackside in California and Matt LeBlanc ‘driving’ a Reliant 3-wheeler from London to Blackpool.

More promos are set to be released ahead of the show’s launch on BBC Knowledge in May.

  1. I was all in the, “you can’t replace” what ever camp. I have to say the number one thing that made me think they may have done a good job is Matt LeBlanc. Maybe it’s just because I like Episodes, but being a bit outside of the box like casting him seems they are actually trying for a different version. Not doing what the international versions seemed to do with recasting the roles.

  2. The show has always had high production values, even the US version is very good in this area.
I’ll give it a go but time will tell if the ratings are still there.

BTW I though the air date was already set for late May?
