9 Comments:

  1. Maybe 7Two didn’t get a look-in is because we’ve seen every one of their programs (Escape To The Country, etc) a dozen times already.

And they still promo them as “New”.

  2. Maev....Sydney

7TWO did not get a look in on the multi channels…
And F1 did not make the top 20 on TEN…we may lose it altogether on FTA…I hope not…but does not look good.

    • Secret Squïrrel

Don’t think the F1 cracked the Top 20 before apart from the Aus GP. Think more people watched the Monaco GP on both Ten/One and Foxtel this year than last year. Smiling Aussie on pole prob helped.

  3. Not surprised that Sky News did well (by its standards) with the debate, even if they didn’t code it correctly. But ABC was lower than I would’ve expected. Given the figures and the dull debate itself, I bet Seven and Nine won’t be rushing to bump reality shows for a future debate!

  4. bettestreep2008

I didn’t watch it but I saw enough of House Rules during the gambling ads that Seven calls the AFL telecast. The reason viewers flocked to this episode is to see the ‘nasty’ contestants get their comeuppance. Seven is the master in selecting at least one contestant who gets viewers peeved. Whether it is a MKR contestant who calls each dish ‘vomit’ or the House Rules contestant that riles viewers with his arrogance. Just watch the ratings nosedive tonight and MCA get back the 200,000 viewers who deserted them last night.

    • I watched to see if the house turned out as ugly as expected (which it did) I’d say many others did the same. Must be the worst Reno ever, despite the owners liking it. I also think there aren’t any contestants in this series who are really very likeable at all, they also don’t seem to have many Reno skills either, all the contestants still seem to be struggling like it’s week 1 or 2.

  5. That’s the thing though, isn’t it David?

MasterChef (without The Voice especially) domiantes weeknights & key demos.

But Sunday is dominated by Seven & Nine, due to AFL/NRL and News lead-ins…

MasterChef has won Melbourne nearly every ep, but last night House Rules won Melbourne (even beating The Voice) – like a 200k growth. My point exactly… a joke.
