6 Comments:

  1. Hot Seat (572k) getting whacked by The Chase (737k) nationally.
Although it is out rating in Brisbane . Go figure?
Just behind in Eddy’s home town (Melb)
Eddy appearing on Today, looking a bit dis-shevelled from his early morning FM radio studio.
Is Eddy’s star on the wane?
Enjoying “bits” of Britain’s Got Talent, good quality interesting/unique acts, with only “minimal” input from the judges. Good Winter nights, chill out viewing. Although I heard it was going to go thru to 11.20pm or so, is that right?

    • You read my mind. I was looking at Hot Seat figures this morning to see if news this week is having an affect. It’s a bit early to call, but Hot Seat often wins in Brissy, and sometimes Melb.

  2. It says something about Nine’s (largely failing) first half 2016 strategy that they have promoted big slabs of Britain’s Got Talent from one of its secondary to primary channel. It’s going to take something huge to even come close to win the second half of the ratings year. And with Seven having Rio Olympics not too far around the corner, perhaps Nine might even focus most of its attentions on ensuring it gets out of the blocks in ’17 more strongly than the miserable way it started ’16.
