RIP Bill you will be missed. A fine body of work with Big Love a stand out for me.
Really enjoyed this mans body of work…my personal fave…Big Love…
He had so much more to give…awful loss…respect.
Watching Twister this evening on blu, great actor and so many memorable roles like in Aliens, Weird Science, The Husband role in Big Love, obv Twister along with another sadly departed actor, Philip Seymour Hoffman. Sad loss to the acting fraternity and obviously his Family.
I was shocked to find this out this morning while sitting on the toilet on my phone.
a great actor and so many iconic roles.
Thanks for that image.
Very sad news. Remembered Bill in Twister and Titanic.
Tex, Chet was the best role of all. And apparently, in an article I read a few years ago, according to one of the actors in the movie, Ilan Mitchell-Smith, Bill, in real life, was the complete opposite to the horrible brother he played.
I first noticed him in Aliens but it was A Simple Plan where he showed that he could really act.
Sad to hear. I remember him on Twister and Apollo 13. RIP.
Sad to hear of his passing. Seemed far too young. Some classic roles. RIP
What? No love for his role as Chet in ‘Weird Science’?! 😉
Loved Bill in True Lies, the used car salesman who posed as a spy to bed Jamie Lee Curtis. RIP.
