Mixed martial arts drama Kingdom has been axed.
The US series which stars Frank Grillo, Matt Lauria and Nick Jonas, will end at 3 seasons.
A joint statement by AT&T Audience Network and Endemol Shine Studios said, “We are looking forward to the upcoming third and final season of Kingdom… We expect Season 3 to be a great one and appreciate the hard work and dedication from creator and showrunner Byron Balasco, as well as the entire cast and crew.
“We could not be more proud to have worked with all of them on such an amazing series.”
Kingdom airs here on FX but is yet to see S3 in Australia.

Great show, sad to see it go.
Aww, that’s bummer. I normally don’t watch this sort of show, but I’ve really enjoyed watching this. It’s refreshing to see a gay male character in a masculine role. I’m tired of seeing gay stereotypes in TV and films because we all don’t act like that.
Disappointing. I’m definitely not their target audience and have no interest in boxing but it’s so well done that I became hooked.
What is happening in this picture? It dosn’t compute as a show about Martial arts.
Highly underrated Tv series, bummer it is ending.
This is one of my favourite series of the past few years, in fact I voted for it in the binge survey, so sad news. Having said that some of these actors are phenomenal talents I reckon and hard to tie them to 22 eps again. I hope it checks out on a high. Can’t wait for S3 on DVD. I am patient.
