Airdate: Search Party

Updated: US comedy about 4 self-absorbed young adults who come together when a friend disappears begins on VICELAND.

US comedy Search Party will premiere on SBS VICELAND later this month.

The 2016 series, produced for TBS, centres around four self-absorbed young adults who come together when a former college acquaintance mysteriously disappears.

The 10 part series will screen in double episodes.

Dory (Alia Shawkat, Arrested Development), Drew (John Reynolds), Elliott (John Early), and Portia (Meredith Hagner) are by no means crime solvers. In fact, their idea of a good time consists of brunch, parties, and their own loud opinions. So when Dory drags them into a bumbling, perilous pursuit to find Chantal, they soon learn the meaning of real danger.

Entangled in a sinister plot, this is more than their privileged Brooklyn lifestyles ever bargained for.

Season One, Episode One: The Mysterious Disappearance of the Girl that No One Knew (8.30pm)
When Dory discovers that her friend, Chantal has gone missing, she becomes obsessed with finding out what happened, even though her boyfriend, Drew, and his friends, Elliott and Portia, couldn’t care less.
Episode Two: The Woman Who Knew Too Much (8.55pm)
Dory begins to doubt whether she saw Chantal the night before, but an offbeat realtor claims that she has the proof that Dory is looking for.

Updated: Tuesday, 16 May at 8.30pm on SBS VICELAND.
