The 8 part series sees the famed chef in Greece, USA, Georgia, plus stops in Manila, Cologne, Senegal and Buenos Aires.

Discovery Channel takes a trip to explore exotic global destinations through the unique lens of world-renowned chef, Anthony Bourdain, in a new season of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, as he travels across the globe to uncover little-known areas of the world and celebrate diverse cultures through food and dining rituals. Known for his curiosity, candor, and acerbic wit, Bourdain takes viewers off the beaten path of tourist destinations, including some war-torn parts of the world, meeting with a variety of locals to offer a window into their lifestyles, and occasionally communing with an internationally lauded chef on his journeys.

Bourdain kicks off his travels on the idyllic islands of Greece, enjoying Greek specialties such as octopus salad, salatouri and mashed fava beans, and joins a local wine producer at a village party, to celebrate the summer the way Greeks have always done dating back generations. Tony heads to Chicago, USA, to reveal the city through stories of the people who live there; he visits Big Sky Country: Montana to uncover the states rich history; and travels to the post-Soviet satellite country of Georgia, strategically located at the crux of ancient spice routes from Russia, Asia and the Middle East. His journey this season also takes viewers to Manila, Cologne, Senegal and Buenos Aires – it’s going to be a trip to remember!
