Brenna Harding in next Black Mirror

Ex-Puberty Blues star now directed by Jodie Foster in Netflix anthology.


Aussie Brenna Harding (Puberty Blues, A Place to Call Home) has been cast in the upcoming season of Black Mirror.

She has been directed by Jodie Foster in “Arkangel,” alongside Rosemarie Dewitt and Owen Teague (Bloodline).

Key cast have been announced for the next season of the Charlie Brooker anthology, due on Netflix by the end of the year.

There are 5 other episodes:

– “USS Callister” reunites Jesse Plemons, Cristin Milioti (both Fargo), along with Jimmi Simpson (Westworld) and Michaela Coel (Chewing Gum, Monsters: Dark Continent). The episode is directed by Toby Haynes (Dr Who, Sherlock).

– “Crocodile” stars Andrea Riseborough (Bloodline), Andrew Gower (Outlander) and Kiran Sonia Sawar (Murdered By My Father), and is directed by John Hillcoat (Triple Nine, Lawless).

– “Hang the DJ” stars Georgina Campbell (Flowers, Broadchurch), Joe Cole (Peaky Blinders, Green Room) and George Blagden (Versailles, Vikings), and is directed by Tim Van Patten (The Sopranos, Game of Thrones).

– “Metalhead” stars Maxine Peake (Silk, The Theory Of Everything, The Village), Jake Davies (The Missing, A Brilliant Young Mind) and Clint Dyer (Hope Springs), and is directed by David Slade (Hannibal, American Gods).

– “Black Museum” stars Catastrophe’s Douglas Hodge, Letitia Wright (Humans, Ready Player One) and Babs Olusanmokun (Roots, The Defenders), and is directed by Colm McCarthy.

All episodes are written by Brooker, with “USS Callister” also co-written by William Bridges.
