UK-US-Canadian co-production Houdini & Doyle will finally wind its way to Australia next month with a screening on 7TWO.
The drama series, loosely based on the real-world friendship of Harry Houdini and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, stars Michael Weston & Stephen Mangan respectively.
It debuted in the UK in March 2016 but was cancelled after 1 season, hence the summer playout.
Fall in love with the delicious crime series Houdini & Doyle on Thursday, December 14 at 9.30pm. Featuring the dream crime solving team of Harry Houdini (Michael Weston), master magician and Arthur Conan Doyle (Stephen Mangan), creator of the world’s greatest detective, this super addictive drama investigates fascinating, unsolved mysteries set at the turn of the 20th century.

The Foxtel TV Guide lists this as starting this Thursday, December 7 (?)
Better late than never for FTA viewers I suppose, but I suspect the audience will be limited as it was cancelled after one season which can be a negative if it turns out you really like the show.
