Family Feud viewers last night got their first look at the new Sydney set of TEN’s game show.
The show has relocated from external hire studios in South Melbourne to TEN’s own Pyrmont building.
The transition looks to have worked well, given the adjustments of the smaller studio. While the overall look is probably less-warm than its previous home, the change probably isn’t enough to deter viewers, which is good news.
The audience will also be smaller, but are only seen in fleeting shots regardless. Pint-sized along with its host, perhaps, who now has much less travel to deal with…..
Under producer Pam Barnes, recently honoured at the Screen Producers Awards, TV Tonight understands no fulltime staff have yet lost their position in the switch from Melbourne to Sydney.

Weird to think that’s where Studio 10 was not that long ago!
Also The Living Room
Now they just need some ratings. Been very poor numbers lately.
They mentioned it in the Kyle and Jackie O special, that they had to come to Sydney because Kyle wouldn’t go to Melbourne, but I thought they were just joking. As only a casual viewer I didn’t notice the set changes.
Did not think the new set was exceptional just ok.
The Fast Money segment look was great however. Huge improvement especially when Grant has his back turned to the audience’s direction.
Fitting Kyles ego into that studio was a feat in itself.
