Kevin Spacey seeking treatment

Actor Kevin Spacey is seeking treatment following revelations this week, triggered by actor Anthony Rapp.

“Kevin Spacey is taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment,” his representative said in a statement to Variety. “No other information is available at this time.”

Since’s Rapp’s claims Mexican actor Roberto Cavazos and American documentary filmmaker Tony Montana have also come forward with allegations while, The Old Vic theatre in London, where Sppacey servied as Artistic Director, is conducting an investigation.

“Inappropriate behavior by anyone working at The Old Vic is completely unacceptable. We aim to foster a safe and supportive environment without prejudice, harassment or bullying of any sort, at any level,” it said in a statement.

Production on the sixth and final season of Netflix’s House of Cards, in which Spacey plays the lead role of Frank Underwood, has been suspended.

In a new statement Netflix and Media Rights Capital said, “We view Kevin seeking treatment as a positive step. We continue to take this hiatus time to evaluate our path forward as it relates to the production and have nothing further to share at this time.”
