It’s aspiring models and their mothers in the new US reality series Making a Model with Yolanda Hadid.

The eight-episode series, screening on hayu, follows six mother / daughter teams as they travel to New York City to live under one roof and compete against each other in the pursuit of becoming a supermodel.

The series also features special appearances by Yolanda’s daughters Gigi & Bella Hadid and designers Tommy Hilfiger and Nicole Miller.

In the cut-throat world of modelling, every aspiring beauty needs support, guidance and sometimes a nudge down the runway.

On Making a Model with Yolanda Hadid, premiering Sunday 11th February exclusively on hayu in Australia, former model and reality television personality Yolanda Hadid (who starred on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) brings her expertise to the forefront as she coaches aspiring teen models to succeed on and off the catwalk.

As the mother and agent to international modelling superstars, Gigi and Bella Hadid, and her model son Anwar Hadid, Yolanda and her trusted team of experts will put the contestants and their ‘Mum-agers’ (or ‘Mom-agers’ to these U.S.A. natives!) through an intensive eight week training program – focused on the physical, mental and emotional wellness that it takes to build a sustainable brand as a model.

Each week, Yolanda puts the girls and their mums through a series of lessons and assignments designed to not only test their modelling agility, but also the strength of their mother/daughter relationship.
