Im looking forward to this. I know it’s another doctor show but when I saw who was in it I thought awesome. Matt Czuchry I adored in The Good Wife and Emily was fantastic in both Brothers and Sisters and Revenge. Cant wait.
I do not care for the young lady from revenge….I like The Good Doctor…have not watched many other medical shows…excepts real life…24 Hours in ER (SBS) …..

I could tell the title isn’t refer to Emily Van Camp’s character. This was a lame attempt at attracting a wider audience.
I just heard an advertisement for this where they called it the “biggest drama since Revenge” my eyes nearly rolled out of my head.
My daughters, who work in hospitals, get their comedy fix from the fantasy land portrayed in Seven’s medical ‘dramas’ and in Home & Away.
What do they think of ‘Scrubs’ then?
It is almost impossible, having worked in hospitals, to watch any hospital “drama” especially American ones which are so far from the truth that they may as well be classified as Fantasy.
The promos for this one look even worse than the usual. Producers have no interest in showing true hospitals, they just want dramatic backgrounds for their impossibly beautiful junior doctors to act as if they are running the health system while hooking up in linen rooms.
I think Seven have been clever in promoting this show with Emily Van Camp, rather than Matt Czuchry who plays the central character, and referencing Revenge, which was arguably Seven’s last consistent US hit (prior to The Good Doctor).
Agreed.
They reference The Good Doctor too, which I think is also clever promotion. Is there any similarity in them outside of them both being medical dramas?
I can’t do anymore hospital dramas
Why is it free to air is obsessed with continually making hospital based dramas
I love Emily . I will be tuning in just for her .
