  1. All I would like to see is some production consistency in Netflix’s Marvel franchise, as an example the first season of Daredevil created a benchmark for choreographed violence that reminded me of early Jason Bourne movies but seemed toned down in season 2 allowing the Punisher to have the honours, the former gritty adult story lines become more comic book with Iron Fist which was the weakest of all the characters with the Punisher being almost in his own universe with gratuitous violence with an anti-war theme and not much else. Jessica Jones will be interesting just to see how the shows writers develop her character or whether the links with Luke Cage and others continues.

  2. Omg yes!! I recently rewatched the exquisite S1 again (I was showing a friend who loved it as much as I did!) and appreciated it’s dark themes and underrated tone even more the second go around… I loved the fact that within S1 they deftly balanced a number of character’s origin stories without over stuffing the premise and letting Jessica and her overall very personal story shine… that is a huge accomplishment in my book.
And I tell you what, that last few seconds of the trailer hints at one of the great characters in modern television’s return… God I hope they are gonna do what I wish they would do!! ?
