Have to agree . Lisa is not doing what Ten thought she would.
i don’t understand why ten thinks that Lisa should be on the project. She’s not a good fit. Is it just marking time while they get a breakfast show ready for her?
I do think she fits in better with the Sunday crew then Waleed and co on Friday nights. 2 million is a big paycheck for 3 Project appearances a week even if she does have to travel and does a few long form interviews so you may be right.
Maybe she’s only there to interview “the girls”. Lambie is always a good interviewee but Celine Dion? Who knew she hadn’t disappeared into retirement to raise chooks?
I think people are forgetting she’s also going to be the editor of TEN’s new online platform, Ten Daily when it launches
Married At First Sight pulls the biggest rating of any reality so far this year, now a big gap in front of an old MKR. However, Seven were able to still have a big win, thanks to the Winter Olympics into late night. Seven’s multi-channels (especially 7mate) lowest in a week, although multi-channels being low across the board on Sundays seems to be a trend, with main channels being quite high.
MAFS ratings were huge. Just goes to show how clever 7 is at buying the right sports and dominating the ratings no matter what 9 throws at them.
Yes it is a good point. Particularly since 2012, Nine have thrown a lot at Seven and still the latter finds a way to win weeks / the year. The race in the demographics is the real battle these days though, Nine getting the upper hand there.
One thing that is unfortunate for Nine, they should be dominating the demos (as in winning the network demos each night and the end of week average, on the back of Married). However, because Olympics airs for the whole of prime-time measurement 6pm-12am on 7mate/Channel 7, they were able to also dominate the demos last week.
Nine and Ten know there’s not much they can do during Olympics / Comm Games, other than to remain as competitive as possible. Hence Nine and Ten should also be expected not to launch too many new shows and essentially ‘ruin’ them during this period.
Yep that makes sense.
