  1. Hmmm, I also recall House had penchant for speaking out things he should keep in – perhaps he was on the spectrum as well. Agree with Deejays that the Good Doctor’s fake voice is a major turn off …

    • Sorry but people can’t help their voice – you would probably judge me if we met. Glad I don’t know you and I hate it when people are judgemental about things people can’t help, as they were born that way. Anyway we are all entitled to our opinions I guess 🙁

      • Let me clear this up, I have seen him in other shows and on Ellen and his normal speaking voice I have no issues with. It’s the fake accent he puts on for this character that I find cringeworthy.

  2. @thedirtydigger – the story is a bit deeper than that. He is autistic – so quite brilliant but has difficulties relating to people and speaking out things he should keep in. Gives the show an edge over House and people with that difficulty in their friends and family would watch it to learn and compare. Apart from that it is an excellent show as well.

  3. So caught a bit of The Good Doctor last night.
This is what happens when ‘ House ‘ has a baby with ‘ Doogie Howser ‘ right ?
Surprised it is so popular, given the bit I saw…
