  1. My wife hates it when I have my laptop in place & watching TV. It is OK for her to browse the internet on her Samsung S7 Edge LOL. Many shows we watch together just do not provide riveting viewing for me.
Only channels I watch stuff on at all are 70, 13 and 30. Occasionally 90 when the Voice is on but every time they bring Seal over I cringe because he never picks the ones with the best voice in the end because he thinks he can do something more for the mediocre voices. Grrrrrrrrr – Is it not called the Voice or is it Voice Test 🙁

  2. I really like Spartan. Yes, it’s a copy of Ninja Warrior with teams instead of individuals, and it can be slow and boring at times. However, I really like the teamwork aspect of the show and will continue to watch the final episodes.

I wonder how well Australian Ninja Warrior will do this year? Will it continue to have high ratings like last year or will it be a flop this year?

    • Cause the ABC is lazy….everything is either repeats from the day before or repeats from shows 10 years ago…very lazy programming…and don’t start me on that ridiculous 6pm “quiz” show

      • TV these days are a background device. Mostly people play with
Mobile’s, tablets, computer or game devices and have TV playing in the background.

          • Agree David. I enjoyed the F1 coverage. From 4pm live. Recorded be4 that to spool through car racing I don’t watch. F1 is my kind of racing 🙂 Then Ten news the Over to our Foxtel recordings and they are smart as a few nice new series are filling the Easter boredom void on FTA TV. Love FTA TV — I worked for Ten but they need to get their programming right. Good job with F1 in HD Ten Network 🙂
Did not watch Bachelor in Paradise – all washed out has been’s I’m afraid.

          • Looking back via David’s OzTam archive, the Grand Prix had 1.4m in 2012, with a huge audience in Melbourne.

Clearly Aussies aren’t anywhere near as interested as they once were. Also much less promotion and Network Ten of course aren’t what they used to be.

Add in Sunday afternoon AFL (202k in Melb with a thriller) and NRL competition, plus the cricket crisis news.
