Ex-Nine managing director consults for Foxtel

Former Nine managing director Amanda Laing has been hired as a consultant for Foxtel.

Laing, who left Nine after 18 years with the company last year, has been hired by CEO Patrick Delany to consult on strategy. She recently consulted to Telstra to help work through the merger of FOX Sports and Foxtel.

Delany has also former Sky Deutschland executive Euan Smith to consult in operations, according to the Australian Financial Review. Foxtel is reportedly also on a search for a new chief financial officer with Gavin Dumsday, deciding to leave after 15 years.
