New US drama God Friended Me is coming to Seven soon.
The CBS series stars Brandon Micheal Hall as an outspoken atheist whose life is turned upside down when he is friended by God on Facebook. Unwittingly, he becomes an agent of change in the lives and destinies of others around him.
It also features Violett Beane, Javicia Leslie, Suraj Sharma, and Joe Morton. Greg Berlanti is one of the executive producers.

This sounds similar to a show that was on a few years ago where God kept appearing to a teenage girl. The guy in Criminal Minds played her father.

I was thinking of Touched by an Angel, although the agent for change in that series was an actual angel, I think.
