Invictus Games ambassador David Beckham will appear on Invictus Games Today tonight
We will catch up with Beckham at the athletics track to talk about his role as an Invictus Games Sydney 2018 ambassador, what the Invictus Games mean to him, and the importance of family and friends. As an ex-elite sportsman, we will chat to him about the power of sport for the competitors’ road to recovery.
David is one of the world’s most respected sporting champions. He is the first English football player to win league titles in four countries: England, Spain, the United States and France. He retired in May 2013 after a 20-year career, during which he won 19 major trophies.
Also, on tonight’s show, Dylan Alcott shows Dave Hughes a thing or two about wheelchair tennis, Lehmo heads to the archery, plus there’s a re-cap of the bone-crunching final of the wheelchair rugby.
8pm tonight on ABC.
