People’s Choice Awards 2018: winners

Axed fantasy series Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments was the big winner at the People’s Choice Awards today in LA.

Since Freeform axed the series mid year, angry fans have mounted aggressive social media campaigns in their quest to save the show. Today they exerted people power awarding it Best Show of 2018, Bingeworthy Show of 2018 and actors Harry Shum and Katherine McNamara  as Male  & Female TV Star of 2018 respectively (although oddly not as Sci-fi/Fantasy Show of 2018).

It screens in Australia through Netflix.

Other wins went to the Kardashians, Riverdale and Dynasty.
