Renewed: Good Trouble, Grown-ish.

Two more US titles which screen on Foxtel get the green light.

The Fosters spin-off series Good Trouble, which is about to debut in Australia, has been renewed for a second season.

It stars Aussie Maia Mitchell and Cierra Ramirez as siblings shortly after their college graduations. Callie and Mariana are now twentysomethings who have moved to Los Angeles, where they reside in a communal living space with a diverse group of tenants. While Callie is clerking for a federal judge, Mariana works at a male-dominated tech company.

It will premiere in Australia on FOX8 at 6:30pm this Saturday.

Grown-ish, a spin-off from US comedy Black-ish, is also renewed for a third season.

The single-camera comedy follows the Johnson’s eldest daughter Zoey (Yara Shahidi) as she heads off to college and begins her journey to adulthood, but quickly discovers that not everything goes her way once she leaves the nest.

“At Freeform our shows are uncompromising and bullish on what’s possible when young adults are empowered to be themselves and share their voice about the things that define them and their generation,” said Tom Ascheim, president of Freeform.

It screens in Australia on FOX8.

  1. Glad to hear Grown-ish been renewed, looking forward to season 2. Just wish Foxtel would pick up second run rights to Black-ish to complement it.
    @ David Knox – Grown-Ish is a FOX8 series, not Comedy.
