American grid iron came to Sydney Harbour yesterday in a clever promotional stunt by Kayo Sports atop a 55-metre-long barge.

Ex AFL turned Seattle Seahawks player Michael Dickson was joined by Adelaide Crows’ key forward, Josh Jenkins, BBL|08 leading run scorer, D’Arcy Short, Waratahs’ fly half Bernard Foley, Rabbitohs’ centre Dane Gagai, Broncos’ playmaker Kodi Nikorima, plus former NFL defensive tackle, Colin Scotts and local team the Northern Sydney Rebels.

Super Bowl LIII (New England Patriots vs. Los Angeles Rams) kicks off on ESPN on Kayo Sports from 9.30am AEST today.

For the first time, ESPN ANZ will produce an exclusive Live broadcast of the game for Australia and New Zealand viewers – starting with a half hour pre-game show. The coverage will be called by ESPN Monday Night Football’s team of Joe Tessitore, two-time Super Bowl winner, Booger McFarland and 11-time Pro Bowler and Dallas Cowboys legend, Jason Witten.
