I’m loving The Heights and I have gone ahead of broadcast because I am going overseas for three weeks. Just sucks that the ABC have dumped it on a Friday night which is the second worst night for the shows target market. Have a feeling we won’t be getting any more episodes commissioned which is a shame.

  2. “The Heights” isn’t that bad, there are some elements in it. Maybe the ABC has programmed it on the wrong night(Friday night is probably better for British detective dramas, like Endeavour or Midsomer Murders), and they’ve barely promoted it either, so who’d actually know it’s on Fridays? Also, letting people “binge” an entire series on Iview in week one tends to reduce the potential overall ratings the ABC could get. My bet is they move “The Heights” to another night, Thursday perhaps.

    • As has been much discussed here, the series was intended for a 6 or 6.30 slot as half hour eps Mon to Thur, so its current slot is a complete accident-could see it being shown at 6.00pm Sat as the primary broadcast rather than a repeat as now if the numbers continue to slide.
