Timothy Hutton joins Sisters adaptation

Timothy Hutton was recently announced as joining the US pilot of Sisters.

The as-yet-untitled pilot stars for FOX stars Brittany Snow as only child Julia Bechley who has her life turned upside down when it’s revealed that her father, pioneering Nobel Prize-winning fertility doctor Leon Bechley used his own sperm to conceive dozens of children over the course of his career.

Hutton will play her father, a role originally portrayed by Barry Otto.

Also cast are Megalyn Echikunwok and Emily Osment as her previously unknown sisters, and Mustafa Elzein as a young doctor in Bechley’s fertility clinic.

Annie Weisman and Jason Katims are producing along with Imogen Banks.

The original series by Endemol Shine aired in Australia on 10 in 2017.
