US network FOX has cancelled Almost Family after just one season.
The series is the US adaptation of Australian drama Sisters, which had one season on 10 in 2017. It starred Brittany Snow, Megalyn Echikunwoke and Emily Osment and Timothy Hutton as the fertility doctor who used his own genetic material to conceive dozens of other children.
Almost Family wrapped its 13-episode run last month but Hollywood Reporter noted it was among the lowest-rated shows on the Big Four networks this season, averaging 2.5 million viewers for most of its run.
The US version was adapted by Annie Weisman, who executive produced with Jason Katims, Jeni Mulein, Sharon Levy, Randy Zisk and Australia’s Imogen Banks.

Seemed a strange thing to do in the 1st place to remake an unsuccessful Oz series.
