Are TEN splitting their audience too much, for instance they had SVU on and getting 182,000, while on BOLD at the same time NCIS: Los Angeles got 122,000 2nd showing was 117,000 also against SVU (not known rating). NCIS back to Tuesday isn’t fairing any better on 239,000 though up against CSI: Miami not in the top 20 secondaries, with both nights the 7:30pm NCIS was 114,000 and 129,000.
I may be wrong, however it really seems like they’re competing against themselves for the same audience.
Gee Ten needs to rethink a lot of their programming decisions. They need to discover the next biggest thing coming and jump on it. 7.1 is not paying the bills.
Yes Aussiecam, Ten need to build their program coffers but they will hold MasterChef until after MKR is completed. Too valuable a program to wreck it by panic scheduling changes now I feel. It is sad to see who totally rules the remote controls these days and I find myself jumping more and more to our iQ4 Foxtel box remote to view or record a real huge variety of programming that I can enjoy. Also the way all recordings work is totally superior to anything Freeview offers or the networks.
Don’t get me wrong I love Network Ten but they need to look harder to cover the pre and post MasterChef time period including more sport.
MKR we watch and it has good parts and then terrible parts. I would not watch it if it wasn’t for the commander general of the remote control in our house. When she goes to bed I watch my recordings which are 80% Foxtel these days.
