Front Bar trounces final Footy Show, MasterChef wins slot.
Ratings: Lehmo & co. lift in their last Footy Show, but it wasn't enough to dent Seven rival.

The final Footy Show drew 136,000 for Nine, 78,000 of whom were in Melbourne.
That was a lift on its preceding week but nowhere near the numbers flocking to Seven’s rival Front Bar at 462,000. 308,000 of those were in Melbourne in the same slot, reiterating that the audience had made the call on Nine’s revamp. Late last night the network followed suit.
MasterChef Australia won its slot with 640,000 and topped the demos followed by 419,000 for the first MasterClass of the season.
ABC News had a timeslot win at 691,000.
Seven network won the night with a 32.9% share then Nine 23.2%, 10 19.4%, ABC 16.5% and SBS 7.9%.
Seven News was #1 with 1.03m / 1.01m for Seven then Home & Away (617,000). The Chase drew 583,000 / 371,000 and Britain’s Got Talent was 457,000.
Nine News (890,000 / 866,000) led for Nine then A Current Affair (682,000). Hot Seat was 506,000 / 293,000 and in select markets Thursday Night NRL (318,000), RBT (275,000) and Lethal Weapon (74,000).
The Project drew 456,000 / 267,000 for 10. 10 News First was 400,000 then Pointless (213,000) and Law & Order: SVU (183,000).
7:30 (600,000), Escape from the City (442,000), Doctor Foster (235,000), The Drum (205,000) and Would I Lie to You? (185,000) comprised ABC’s remaining line-up.
On SBS it was Secrets of Britain (258,000 / 255,000), Project Blue Book (133,000), SBS World News (130,000) and Mastermind (96,000).
Bluey topped multichannels at 182,000 as usual.

Today Extra: 113,000 / 67,000
Studio 10: 54,000 / 51,000 / 35,000

I enjoy watching the Front Bar i think its simplicity and not trying to be something its not is working for them. Keep it up FB. As for Footy show Nine should have started over with a clean slate they didnt, they half arsed it. They should have put it on a different night.
Yep it’s the simple format that works, it is also why I watch The Marngrook Footy Show on NITV, pity that doesn’t get more viewers as it sums up the games coming up and footy in general.
