Axed: Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists

Pretty Little Liars spinoff The Perfectionists has been cancelled after one season by US cable network Freeform.

The series based on a book by PLL author Sara Shepard, followed Alison, played by Sasha Pieterse, and Mona, portrayed by Janel Parrish, to Oregon, where they joined the community at Beacon Heights University and confronted by a mysterious and shocking murder.

The show’s ten-episode run screened in Australia on FOX8, resolving the question of who pushed resident fiend Nolan Hotchkiss to his doom but leaving a larger mystery unanswered: Who is the shadowy puppet master, The Professor? Good luck with that.
