Airdate: Monster Croc Wrangler

A fourth season of the retitled Outback Wrangler comes to Nine.

Next week Nine will air Monster Croc Wrangler, featuring Matt Wright.

This appears to be a fourth season of the retitled Outback Wrangler which has screened earlier seasons on both 9GO! and National Geographic. Nine now has the Australian premiere.

“This has to be our most exciting and ambitious season yet”, said Wright. “From the Kimberly Coast to the Tiwi Islands, my mates and I find ourselves in more than our fair share of hairy situations, keeping crocs and people out of harm’s way.”

Set in the dramatic scenery of Australia’s Northern Territory, animal expert and professional chopper pilot Matt Wright, along with his best mates Jono and Willow, track down a diverse range of dangerous animals with the aim of relocating and preserving the magnificent predators.

The saltwater crocodile population in the north has been protected for over 40 years – which means they’ve had time to grow into some of the biggest in the world! Fielding calls for help from farmers, fishermen, resorts, remote towns and more, Matt and his team will aim to fly in to assist and educate these communities.

Matt has endured broken bones and other serious injuries in his conservation journey. It’s dangerous work, but danger comes with the territory.

9:40pm Wednesday December 4 on Nine.
