“From all of us at Today Tonight it has been a pleasure and such a privilege”

End of an era as Monica Kos and Rosanna Mangiarelli sign off in Perth & Adelaide, respectively.

Final episodes of Today Tonight went to air on Thursday (Adelaide) and Friday (Perth) bringing a 25 year history to an end.

Both shows were axed by Seven on Tuesday as part of cost-saving move by the network, despite both winning their timeslots.

Adelaide presenter Rosanna Mangiarelli, who has been permanent presenter since 2007, remains as part of Seven News in 2020.

Monika Kos has hosted since 1997 but finished up with Seven Perth yesterday.

Both shows are replaced with one hour news bulletins.

  1. Monika Kos is a class act. I’m sorry to see she doesn’t have another media role to go to. My close friend who worked on TT as a freelancer said despite the fact everyone involved has been expecting the axe to fall for a good few years, it was still a shock when it happened. I wish those people all the best finding new roles.
