Doctor Who is confirmed to return at 7:30pm Thursday January 2.
“Spyfall” (Part 1) is the first adventure of the new season led by Jodi Whittaker. It includes Stephen Fry and Lenny Henry and will screen same day as the UK.
It is likely to drop earlier on iview for insatiable fans.
A second episode is due in the UK a matter of days later.
ABC is yet to confirm a regular weekly slot for the show.

I assume the regular weekly slot will be on Mondays, as it was in 2018.
Would say so, as Spyfall Part 2 goes to air in the UK on Sun Jan 05th so would take it that will be the regular day … so Monday here.
The rumours of Stephen Fry being a Lethbridge-Stewart are rife. Trailer does little to hose down those rumours. Still wondering what happened to the episode that was Fry-penned but replaced last minute.
Let’s hope this seasons’ stories are better than the last. While it was refreshing to have a female Doctor the scripts were rather poor.
Does this mean that Whovians is back? Does anyone know?
Whovians will be back I believe. ABC Comedy on twitter put out a notice for audience members today so I’m guessing it’s back.
I saw the same- although they announced a Tuesday show, not Monday!
