Foxtel has renewed its agreement for the US PGA Tour, including all US PGA Tour events across the year, World Golf Championship events and Presidents Cup.

All US PGA Tour events will be broadcast Live on FOX Sports (Foxtel, Foxtel Now, Foxtel Go and on Kayo Sports). Foxtel already has existing broadcast rights to the Masters, US Open, the US PGA Championship and The Open Championship.

The announcement comes in advance of The Players Championship which will be broadcast Live from Friday, March 13.

“Foxtel is delighted to have renewed its agreement to broadcast US PGA Tour golf, Presidents Cup and World Golf Championship, which combined with our broadcast rights for the Masters, US Open Championship, US PGA Championship, The Open Championship, US LPGA, European PGA, European LPGA, Asian Tour and selected Australian events provides Foxtel and Kayo subscribers and fans with the most comprehensive and compelling coverage of the sport,” Head of FOX Sports, Peter Campbell, said.

Under the agreement with Discovery, as long-term international strategic partner to the PGA Tour, members of Foxtel’s subscriber loyalty program Foxtel First* can access, via special vouchers Discovery’s GOLFTV powered by PGA Tour App with exclusive content which will complement Foxtel’s offering by providing them with live streaming and on demand replays of US PGA Tour events, tournament previews, player content – including the exclusive original series My Game: Tiger Woods – and instruction videos that are available on their mobile, tablet and computer.

Widely regarded as “the fifth major”, The Players Championship will be staged at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, a course which is known for its famed 17th hole, an island par-three with a green surrounded by water that has provided some magical moments and storied history for the tournament.

The strongest field of the 2020 season will tee it up at The Players Championship including World Number 1 and defending champion Rory McIlroy, Brookes Koepka, John Rahm, Dustin Johnson, Tiger Woods and Rickie Fowler.
