Wednesday steady, Nine takes the night.

Ratings: Wins for Seven News, ACA, MAFS, Mad as Hell, Doctor Doctor & Sunrise.

While turmoil envelops the real world, Wednesday TV was pretty much steady as she goes with small lifts for Australian Survivor, Doctor Doctor, while Today and Sunrise resumed something closer to normal.

Married at First Sight 1.05m and topped the demos.

Australian Survivor (599,000),  7:30 (574,000), Hard Quiz (573,000), My Kitchen Rules (412,000)

At 8:30pm Mad as Hell pulled 565,000 then from 9pm Doctor Doctor (516,000), First Dates (351,000 / 215,000),

Nine network won Wednesday with 31.9% then Seven 24.8%, 10 19.4%, ABC 17.0% and SBS 6.9%.

Nine News drew 866,000 / 875,000 for Nine then A Current Affair (744,000) and Hot Seat (450,000 / 294,000)

Seven News won its slot at 927,000 / 919,000 for Seven. Home and Away was 552,000 and The Chase was 481,000 / 316,000.

The Project drew 471,000 / 278,000 for 10. 10 News First was 356,000 / 235,000. Bull was 227,000.

ABC News (688,000), Black Comedy (216,000), The Drum (180,000) and Adam Hills: The Last Leg (169,000) also comprised ABC’s night.

On SBS it was Tony Robinson’s Hidden Britain By Drone (178,000), Dublin Murders (152,000), SBS World News (125,000), Mastermind (69,000) and Project Blue Book (63,000).

Today: 205,000
News Breakfast: 143,000 / 51,000

  1. I’m enjoying First Dates as well, I’m just not thrilled the wait staff have taken a bigger role this season. It’s unnecessary. The editing also feels very manipulative at times, like when someone takes a sip of their drink through a straw when their date says something questionable and they had that ridiculous slurping sound for emphasis. Straws don’t make that sound when your drink is full.

    1. From what I saw, most of the guys were being complete d***s to their dates on last night’s show so I would say it is far from that!!
