Falconio doco premieres in the UK
Aussie-made doco on 2001 backpacker murder, coming to Seven, has its British debut.

Four part documentary Murder in the Outback: The Falconio and Lees Mystery has premiered in the UK.
Produced by CJZ, the series re-examining the evidence surrounding the 2001 death of a British backpacker Peter Falconio. The story later became a telemovie, Joanne Lees: Murder in the Outback starring Joanne Froggatt.
The documentary, billed as “one of the most detailed re-investigations of the Falconio murder ever mounted”, features former profile lawyer, Andrew Fraser who raises questions about some of the evidence. Fraser was himself the subject of a miniseries, Killing Time, on Foxtel.
The doco screens all week in the UK and is due to screen in Australia on Seven.
In 2005 Bradley John Murdoch was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment with a non-parole period of 28 years

If this show is about accusing Joanne Lees of her boyfriends murder then I won’t be watching. It reminds me of accusing Lindy Chamberlain of murdering her baby because she appeared cold and unemotional.
It is really good so far and it isn’t something I normally watch
What on earth happened to this? They were bombarding us with promos for it a few weeks ago as though nit was about to air then suddenly they disappeared.
