FOX Sports: FIFA Women’s World Cup announcement

FOX Sports to cover the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup announcement live on Friday morning.

Will a joint bid to host the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 in Australia and New Zealand be successful?

Tomorrow morning FOX Sports News will cover the announcement by the FIFA Council Live at 2.00am AEST.

There are 7 other competing bids: Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Japan, South Africa and South Korea/ North Korea.

Commencing Live from 6.00am will be a wrap-up of the outcome of the decision with all of the latest reactions from home and in Switzerland where the vote will be held.

Also at 6.00am, we interview FFA Chairman Chris Nikou and Matildas goalkeeper Lydia Williams.

At 6.30am, coverage continues on FOX Sports News, broadcasting an interview with the Federal Sports Minister Richard Colbeck.

From 7.00am, FOX Sports expert football commentators Mark Bosnich and Adam Peacock will host a 1-hour special where they will speak directly with the FFA CEO James Johnson, FFA’s Head of Game Development Sarah Walsh as well as Westfield Matildas player Steph Catley and New Zealand’s player Rebekah Stott.

  1. Hate to think the Koreas have a chance with how volatile that place is. Just look at North’s blowing up of that shared building the other day.
