Airdate: 2021 Brit Awards

Britain's annual music awards, hosted by Jack Whitehall, are next month on UKTV.

UK TV will screen The 2021 Brit Awards next month, hosted by Jack Whitehall, delayed from February due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ceremony will have a live audience of 4,000 key workers from London. As part of the pilot programme everyone who attends would have to return a negative COVID test before the ceremony and after the ceremony. However, the crowd won’t need to be socially distanced or have to wear face masks once inside The O2 arena.

Headlining the British categories are Dua Lipa, AJ Tracey and The 1975, with Arian Grande, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd and Australia’s own Tame Impala headlining the international nominations. Confirmed performances on the night are Dua Lipa and rising star Griff.

Wednesday, May 12 at 8.30pm on UKTV.
