Josh Thomas’ latest US comedy Everything’s Gonna Be Okay is getting a Free to Air screening after all.
Season 1, which debuted in 2020, will screen on ABC TV Plus later this month.
This aired on Stan in January 2020 (review is here), with S2 recently playing.
Australian twenty-something Nicholas is left to take care of his two American teenage half-sisters after the death of their father. Nicholas hasn’t been particularly present in his siblings’ lives, and now his sisters have to cope with not only a devastating loss but the reality that their neurotic, ill-equipped brother is all they have. But he tries! He tries so, so hard.
Episode 1: Nicholas offers himself up as guardian to his two half-sisters. What’s the worst that can happen?

I’ve watched both seasons of this show and I’m still not sure if I actually like it. It’s watchable but it isn’t a patch on ‘Please like me’ which I loved.
