The Living Room: July 2

All aboard Sydney Harbour and Bass Strait this week on 10.

It’s a nautical theme this week on The Living Room.

This week, we’re hoisting the halyards and helping turn the top deck of a cruise boat, into a top spot for viewing Sydney Harbour.

Owned and operated by an Indigenous community organisation, the group’s cultural cruises took a big hit during the Covid pandemic. So, we’re helping turn the ship around with an upper deck makeover that’ll hopefully have punters lining up for more.

Displaying his nautical know-how, Baz designs a driftwood-inspired table lamp, and together with the creative flair of Indigenous artist Lucy Simpson, discovers how to screen print cushions with ocean-inspired designs. Miguel takes barbequed snapper to a new level with bush tucker greens and Chris heads out to sea to explore little-known Skull Rock, off Victoria’s Mornington Peninsular.

7:30pm Friday on 10.

  1. In the great Living Room tradition of news releases written by kids who don’t read good…how about spell checking the Mornington Peninsular …Or is it really Peninsula?
A must watch episode for yacht owners who want to re decorate I guess – perhaps sea loving Barry suggested this one ?

  2. I reckon the Living Room have mucked that up….Skull Rock is off Wilson’s Prom.
