Young Adult drama series Panic has been cancelled by Amazon Prime Video after just one season.
Written and created by Lauren Oliver, based on her bestselling novel, the series takes place in a small Texas town, where every summer the graduating seniors compete in a series of high-stakes challenges to supposedly make their lives better.
The cast featured Olivia Welch, Mike Faist, Jessica Sula, Camron Jones, Ray Nicholson & Enrique Murciano.
It debuted in May.

I read online it just wasn’t as popular as other young adult shows like The Wilds. Also I read that the whole story was told in those episodes and there wasn’t anywhere else to go with it , it was almost like a “limited series” .
Not surprised. In recent memory I can’t remember a new show that started so well, only to fall so badly half way through and never recover. It was difficult to sit through. Plus I thought it was wildly miscast from top to bottom.
