Disney+ has renewed The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers for a second season.
The series, a sequel to the ‘90s hit franchise, stars Lauren Graham, Emilio Estevez, Brady Noon, Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Luke Islam, Kiefer O’Reilly, Taegen Burns, and DJ Watts.
Emilio Estevez is an executive producer and Lauren Graham is co-executive producer, amongst others.
Disney+ announced the news via social media with a 2022 date attached.

One of the surprise packets of the year for me. As an ultimate Mighty Ducks film fan, this could have gone so so bad, but thankfully it went so so well. I was getting nervous about a S2 renewal after hearing nothing for a while. Cos kids are only kids for so long… I mean… at this rate when Stranger Things returns, the core cast will be in their 30’s!
I don’t see this lasting beyond s2. Its o it good when Emilio is in it otherwise it’s crap.
