The BBC has released a first look at the upcoming Doctor Who cast, Jodie Whittaker, Mandip Gill & John Bishop.
Many fans were quick to notice that some of the graffiti on the bottom left of the image resembled some sort of code, with others soon realising that it represented map co-ordinates.
Tose co-ordinates lead to the block of flats in Sheffield that stand in for Yaz’s (Mandip Gill) family home, as shown in multiple episodes of the sci-fi series. It’s one of the few returning locations in Doctor Who’s recent years, and easily identifiable because of its colourful panelling.
Series 13 is expected in Spring with a single storyline this time, in response to COVID limitations.
Whittaker and writer Chris Chibnall will also be part of 3 feature-length specials in 2022 in the UK. The first special will screen on New Year’s Day, with the second airing in autumn (AU) and the third in spring 2022 (AU) as part of the BBC’s centenary celebrations.
Dates for Australia are yet to be confirmed by ABC.

William Hartnell And Jon Pertwee will always be my favourite Dr’s those episodes are the true classics of Dr Who
True. Had BritBox for a month and binged on the classic Doctor Who series.
Watching the alien character tripping on a door frame with their flipper was funny to re-live 😀
I hope there is some good banter between Jodie Whittaker & John Bishop. The series went quite dark with Peter Capaldi. It started to get light again with Jodie Whittaker but we need it to be as fun as it was in the early seasons.
I did notice David that the link to your story didn’t go through onto Twitter, I had to add it manually.
I thought Jodie Whittaker left Dr Who. Haven’t watched too much of the last couple of series so may do a catch up. David Tennant was my favourite Dr.
I read that she is leaving at the end of this season (her third).
its gone woke bigtime look at the ratings its a disaster once these woke people move on they need to get matt smith back and pretent it was a dream like in dallas no one is watching
Chill! The ratings for the last series (series 12) has the same ratings of Peter Capaldi’s final series (series 10).
Unfortunately, the average ratings for series 12 were indeed the lowest since the show returned in 2005.
People who use the word “woke” tend to have a larger agenda than just the program they are commenting on.
