Cedric the Entertainer will host the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards at the Event Deck at L.A. Live, screening Monday morning (Australian time).
Originally planned for Microsoft Theater, the event has relocated to an indoor-outdoor venue, due to concerns over COVID-19 Delta variant.
Ted Lasso leads the nominations (13), followed by The Crown, The Handmaid’s Tale (11), Hamilton (9), WandaVison (8), Mare of Easttown and Saturday Night Live (7). Aussie Yvonne Strahovski is nominated for The Handmaid’s Tale as Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

Loving Ted Lasso, hope they score at The Emmys.
Can’t believe Dave wasn’t nominated for anything.
The nominee list doesn’t make great reading for US broadcast TV.
I tend to think that train the left the station many Emmys ago…
