ABC proceeding with sale of Artarmon site

The ABC is proceeding with sale of its Artarmon storage and studio space in Sydney.

Studio 26 has 700m² of production floor space, scenery runway, production offices, kitchen, parking, art department and wardrobe facilities.

It has been used for productions including The Wiggles and Dance Academy.

Funds from the sale of Lanceley Place will be directed towards the development of new premises in Parramatta.

Settlement will not occur until at least December 2022 and the ABC will continue to manage and use the site until that time.

This will conclude ABC’s presence on Sydney’s north shore after relocating its 1956 headquarters from the Gore Hill  to Ultimo in 2003.
