I really enjoyed the book and will watch this but the timing is not that great due to our real life pandemic.
HBO Drama, created by Paramount/CBSViacom….
Surprised that Foxel/Binge or P+ aren’t airing it?
How does it make it’s way to Stan?
These things always come back to who the Distributor is.
I’m not sure what it says about TV drama producers that just when the World is trying to get back to a new normality whilst still living with a global pandemic they believe making a dystopian melodrama about rebuilding culture and society in the aftermath of a devastating fictional global pandemic will be popular entertainment. Having said that I’m sure readers of the novel by Emily St.John Mandel, from which this series is based, will have a different opinion, for sci-fi, alternative Earth fans the story will be interesting considering the book was written in 2014.
